POST Certified Reserve Lateral to LASD

Question for whomever that can answer, I wanted to know what is the process of getting a LEVEL III POST Certification from another academy and joining LASD Reserve. I went through the whole Reserve hiring process with LASD Reserve, and have been waiting for the Reserve Academy for more that a year. Finally I was able to join the LEVEL III Reserve class with SBSD and should be graduating in December.

Now after I graduate is there a specific procedure I need to follow to join in with LASD Reserve? anyone specific I should contact to ensure all my affairs are in order in the next month or two so that by the time I graduate I can start working as a Reserve?

If your background is compete with LASD, when you graduate your academy your level 3 POST certificate will need to be sent over to RFB and you will need to be processed in. Call RFB and explain your situation. They will help you. It's fairly easy.
